Simone Marschner completed her PhD in 2024 on gestational diabetes and pre-eclampsia and innovative interventions to reduce the risk future diabetes diagnoses and cardiovascular outcomes for women. She is currently the Head Biostatistician at the Westmead Applied Research Centre, University of Sydney with expertise in leading statistical aspects of all phases of study design, implementation, analysis, interpretation and reporting on large-scale epidemiology and randomised clinical trial studies. She is has published in high-ranking specialty journals with over 70 papers but more recently on women’s cardiovascular disease. Her latest first author publication was on global premature menopause in Lancet Obstetrics, Gynaecology and Women’s Health.
