Dr. Pandurang Rotithor Ramchandra is a distinguished Obstetrician and Gynecologist from India with over 43 years of clinical excellence. A recipient of the prestigious Anandibai Joshi Award from the Government of Maharashtra for his outstanding contributions to health and social services, Dr. Rotithor is widely recognized for his innovations in surgical safety and efficiency.
Throughout his career, he has focused on advancing laparoscopic techniques that prioritize patient safety and cost-effectiveness. His notable contributions to the global surgical community include the development of a specialized, reusable uterine manipulator for complex gynecologic procedures and the introduction of a simplified laparoscopic Pomeroy method. An international thought leader, he has presented groundbreaking research on colpotomy without energy sources and pioneered techniques for safe abdominal entry using blunt trocars, featured at the World Laparoscopy Conference.
