Biography
Revathy R. Nair is a graduate student trainee and doctoral research scholar in the psychology department of Christ (Deemed to be University), Bengaluru, India. Her PhD work focuses on examining behavioural and psychosocial barriers to preventive health behaviours among young women in higher education settings. She specialises in health psychology, psycho-oncology, and mixed-methods research designs. She holds an M.Sc. in Psychology (Health and Well-Being). In order to bridge the gap between psychological theory and grassroots qualitative research in the Global South, she is actively teaching undergraduate psychology laboratory and theory courses as part of her PhD program.
